Full of Bliss

One post down.

Second post down.

Third post coming out tomorrow.

Fourth post pending review by my editor.

I could, or rather, AM, getting very used to this.

I try to submit at least two posts every week, which means I've gotten into the daily habit of writing. Writing. Every day. Plus, I currently have a list of ideas for future submissions which should keep me busy for a while.

I am mindful of saving each post on my backup drive, as these are the articles I will ultimately use to snag other writing gigs.

Anybody have a laptop they need to sell. Cheap?

Seriously, seeing my name in print (in lights) and seeing my work published makes me giddy. Give me this and some age-fighting skin care any day.

Once again, for those of you who are slow with math, I'll review the equation one more time:

Writing + Mary Kay = Joyful woman, wife, mother, and friend.

Sounds like bliss.

So happy for you! It is so exciting to see your name in a publication. I literally jumped up and down and whooped it up when I sold my first article. Most of my writing these days is speeches and skits (in other words, not for pay) but it is writing nonetheless. Sounds like you're forming wonderful writing habits. I hope you rub off on me! :)

Keeping things honest here, I am not paid for Blissfullydomestic.

I am viewing it as my "diving board" to securing further, paid work (kind of like theater - building up resume credits). I've come close to getting a few things sold - but don't have enough in my portfolio to shop around, so this site is affording me the opportunity to write, get published, and submit my stuff for future gigs.

I'm finding that the daily practice of writing everyday has become easier and easier.

Thanks for celebrating with me!

I have 2 laptops that you can have. 1 has a disconnected part that connects it to the power cord. The other is old but workable except it got that crazy virus in the summer that needs to be wiped. I have no idea how much it would cost to fix either, but they are yours if you want either.
